HeveaConnect is a digital marketplace for sustainably processed natural rubber. It serves the natural rubber market with an exclusive platform for farmers, producers, consumers as well as facilitators such as financial institutions, logistics and warehousing suppliers. Through HeveaConnect, natural rubber producers and consumers are able to track pricing, have access to market information and transact directly on the platform. Other offerings provided include value-added services such as financing, insurance and logistics.
We're looking for a collaborative Software Engineer to help us deliver our vision of a secure marketplace for natural rubber and other software products for the natural rubber supply chain. Our current tech stack includes, but it is not limited to: Python 3; JavaScript; TypeScript; C#; Apex; PHP; Kotlin; Swift; Ionic; Django; Laravel; .NET Framework; MSSQL; PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities:
Deliver production quality code for mobile applications using HTML, CCS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Swift. Knowledge of cross platform mobile development is preferred. Knowledge of a front-end framework such as Angular, React or Vue is a plus.
Design, develop, deploy, maintain and improve with a test driven approach HeveaConnect software and mobile applications.
Work with business stakeholders, product owners and business analysts to analyse requirements, develop ideas and design solutions
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
Requirements:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent
At least 2 years of commercial experience in mobile development
Interest in digital trading platform
Strong knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, Java, Swift, Kotlin, C/C++
A strong understanding of in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms, UI/UX, mobile applications
A passion for computer programming and a deep curiosity to learn and absorb new technologies quickly
Strong communication skills to advocate your ideas in a clear and concise manner to the team
